Title oh so close

Celtic were tremendous as they defeated the league leaders 2-1 in this top of the table clash.  Having lost out in the knockout cup competitions in recent weeks, they have maintained their focus and ensured they are in a dominant position as they enter the final phase of the league.

Billy Thompson put them into the lead in the first half, but they were pegged back as Marks levelled before half time.

Celtic were really dominant in this game and were denied certain penalties on a couple of occasions.

Adam O'Callaghan was on the mark to ensure the full points as he struck in the second half.  They now travel to Kilbarrack Utd next Sunday where a point will ensure the league title.

Well done to Eddie, Noel Murray, Steven Lawlor, and Arnie Brady, whose dedication has been so important in this move to the title victory.
