AUL Div1 Sat (P Finn): Setback to Celtic's
recent good run with a 5-3 defeat at home to Oatfield FC
in Porterstown. A James Haughton brace and one
from Keith Pendred too little on the day. As Van says
"there will be days like this". 3-5

A bad day at the office saw Castleknock lose their first
match in 12 outings. Rivermount were the visitors and
after one minute celtic were a goal down. The heads went
down for a while but they held out due to some fantastic
saves by Stephen Mason. After the break and a chat the
boys came out fighting and pushed forward at every
chance. Four or five goalmouth skirmishes could have
gone either way but the goal didn’t come. Five minutes
left and Rivermount got a second off the upright and
that was end of match. Rivermount were extremely
professional in defence with their number nine saving on
at least three occasions when Geremi was about to
deliver. A slight setback but maybe this league will be
a lot more difficult than last year's. Castleknock 0
Rivermount 2.

DDSL 11A (T Rush): Celtic continued their 100
per cent start to the season with their 3rd successive
win. They completed the double over their
southside rivals Ballybrack Boys with goals from Mike
Leahy who followed in on the goalkeeper who could only
parry the shot. Conor Cummins was on the mark for
the second when his deflected shot found the net.
Aaron Foley was Celtic's man of the match. Despite
playing below their best, Celtic managed the win, but
they will need to get back to the levels they are
capable of. 2-0

Celtic travelled away to Mid Sutton, but they
suffered defeat in a game that could have been so
different. Celtic's goal was a gem from James
Davey following a pass from Adam Rahaman. If
Celtic had not spurned the many chances that came their
way, it could have been so different. 1-4 NDSL 13A (A Kelly):

A great result for Celtic this week, playing at home
against Drogheda Town the Celtic lads took a while
to get into their rhythm. It was 2-0 to the Drogs
at half time. But it
finished 4 2 to Celtic who had a super second half with
goals from one from Hasim, two from Zaid and one from
Tim. 4-2 DDSL 17Prem
