A fantastic opener to the new campaign in Porterstown following all the excitement of the previous week's celebrations at the Official Opening of the New Clubhouse. 

Castleknock saw off St Josephs East Wall with two goals in each half. The first came from Jeremy 10 minutes into the first half with a fantastic burst down the left hand side.  He took a shot from an acute angle and buried it in the top corner. 

It was all Castleknock from then on and it wasn’t long before Ahmad took a shot with his stronger left foot and scored. 

The second half brought five changes but it didn’t stop the onslaught. Some great work by Jamie put Ahmad in again and he didn’t let us down. After this, East Wall had only a couple of chances but our keeper Stephen was up to the challenge.

The last few minutes saw Jeremy on another run which finished with what was a candidate for goal of the season. The two training sessions a week are obviously paying off and we look forward to next week's challenge. 4:0
