On a dreary early Saturday morning Castleknock travelled the 45 minutes to Cloughertown to play their second match in the series and it wasn’t long before they stamped their authority on the match.

A through ball from Jeremy put Aayo free on his own and he made no mistake putting Celtic ahead ten minutes into the game. Castleknock pressed for a second  but missed three or four chances before the break.

The team was changed at half time and five minutes into the half, Cloughtertown equalised directly from a corner due to some sloppy defending. The keeper, Stephen (man of the match) made some excellent saves and a dual substitution ten minutes from time produced a wonderful goal from Mykola.

The third goal was scored when Aayo controlled a long kickout and banged it into the top right corner. Inspired performances from Jamie and Dylan helped to give Castleknock this fantastic win over a team who played a league above them last season.  3-1
