Terrific Castleknock team performance rewarded with a 3-2 away victory over Mid Sutton FC. 

Castleknock conceded an early goal (against the run of play) when Mid Sutton broke through the offside trap and scored the opener following a 1-on-1 with the goalkeeper. 

Despite this setback, Castleknock continued to press on and 10 mins before half-time, Shane Tobin equalized following a neat pass across the box from Liam Mulroney. 

Gavin Keane had a particularly strong 1st half in goal for Castleknock and was always in command of his goal area. 

In the 2nd half, Ryan McCann put Castleknock ahead 2-1 and continued his remarkable record of scoring in each of Castleknock's 1st 4 games!  

Castleknock then had numerous scoring chances from Kenan Zunic, Liam Mulroney, John Carrie & Shane Tobin but the Mid Sutton goalkeeper pulled off a string of amazing saves. Eventually, Castleknock were rewarded when Shane Tobin scored his 2nd goal to make it 3-1 to Castleknock. 

Despite a late rally (and 2nd goal) from Mid Sutton, Castleknock achieved their first win of the league season. 

"Man Of The Match" for Castleknock was Donavan John who continually chased back to deny Mid Sutton any scoring opportunities.
