NDSL 10P (A Schmidt):
NDSL 11B (E Mullen): Celtic continued with
their tumultuous end of season, playing 4 games in 8
days, which they must repeat again this coming week.
They went a goal down to Kilbarrack in Porterstown and
were under some pressure. However, they are a
fantastic team of battlers, from no. 1 to 16. Manager
Enda Mullen and coach Brendan Carolan have such depth of
talent in the squad that they rotate the players at will
without weakening it. So it was against Kilbarrack,
and Cian Kelly was the first of the Celtic squad to hit
the back of the net when he leveled matters.
Jack Carolan was introduced to great effect. He had
hardly entered the fray when he was on the scoresheet.
Aidan Sampson got the insurance goal to give Celtic a
comfortable margin. It was left to Liam
O'Neill to tap in at the far post after Cian Kelly had
set it up. They could not rest on their laurels,
as they must prepare for another 2 games away to Rush
Athletic and at home to Tolka Rovers. 4-1
and more

NDSL 11E (M Farrell): 30/5/10: Celtic put in a
stellar performance to wind up their league programme at
home to Balscadden. The prolific Narchis Catre hit
a hat-trick. Ian Fanning helped himself to a
brace, as did Adam Rahaman. Asad Azam and Stephen
McAdam rounded off the scoring with a goal each. Michael
Farrell's troops had shared the points in a very
entertaining 1-1 draw at home to Clontarf a
couple of days before. Narchis Catre was again Celtic's
marksman. Celtic could have won it - they hit
the woodwork and a point-blank save by keeper
saved Clontarf.
DDSL 11D (Derek Dixon):
NDSL 12Prem (S Dooley):
NDSL 12Girls (B O'Donovan): 29/5/10: After
their fabulous semi-final win over Mt
Merrion, Celtic's U-12s
Girls put in a splendid Cup Final
performance v WFTA, but were denied by last
gasp winner. Referee's player of the match
was Emma Boyle who was magnificent. Result
2-3.
 DDSL 14B (D Byrne):
NDSL 15Prem (J Roe): Celtic suffered defeat away
to Swords Celtic which meant that they did not get the
runner-up spot that had looked likely a short time ago.
0-1 NDSL 15A (A Kelly): NDSL 15C

DDSL 16Prem
(D Hanlon):
A brilliant second half performance was not enough to
see Celtic gain the 3 points at home to a plucky
Balbriggan side. The visitors had taken a deserved
1-0 lead midway through the first half, and were good
value for their lead at half time. The Celtic that
took to the field in the second half were transformed.
They played superb football, and had a hatful of chances
to put them out of sight. However, they had to
rely on Garret Byrne's single strike 15 mins from time
to gain a share of the points. Man of the match
was Andy Carroll who was magnificent, and just edged out
Garret Byrne for the award. 1-1
