league encounter in Porterstown. 2-1
LSL Maj1B Sat (Ray Bowe):
AUL PremC Sun (Ed OCallaghan): A very
disappointing performance by Celtic away to Rivervalley
Rangers in the Regency Cup. Celtic had been
expected to have a good run in this Cup, but they were
way below par. Though taking the lead through a
Kevin Keane goal, they succumbed to 2 late goals in the
last 10 minutes that ensured an early exit from the
competition. 1-2
AUL Div2 Sun (P Hoey):
NDSL 8Prem (P Killian): Brilliant game was
matched by a brilliant performance from Celtic's young
guns in the semi-final of the Eamon Ludden Cup in the
Sportslink complex on a bright spring morning, though
temperatures were very low for this time of the year.
2-1

DDSL 8C (Craig Shiels):
NDSL 8D (Pat Reilly)
DDSL 9C (P Danaher): Castleknock registered an
impressive victory away to Killester Utd. It was a close
encounter in the first half with Castleknock missing
several good opportunities. It was 0 -0 at half
time. However the second half was much improved with
the passing game reaping its rewards. An early goal in
the half settled nerves and the team improved as the
half wore on. Goals came from a Gavin Harney hat-trick,
Matthew Moran and a deflected strike from Luke Danaher.
5-1

at right back. 2-1 NDSL 13C (J

have been so different if ref had been given penalty
