AUL Div2 Sat (P Finn): Celtic put 5 past Strand Athletic, but still only scraped the 3 points away in this wind-swept league game on the Northside.  James Haughton once again stole the limelight with his brace.  Odie Fanning, John Moriarty and Phil Cooney completed the scoring.  The elements ensured that the goalkeepers were not contenders for man of the match, which went to Jasser Haughton.  5-4

NDSL 15Prem (J Roe): Cracker in Porterstown.  Celtic raced into a 2-0 lead with a brace from Brian Slevin, and looked like they were on easy-street.  Hartstown struck back to level things by the middle of the second half.  The visitors then stunned the home crowd with a bullet header by their centre forward from a well-taken corner on the right hand side.  Celtic were rocked at this stage, but they composed themselves and with some slick passing football, levelled things late on.  Another superb corner gave rise to equaliser from Brian Slevin who rose with style to head home to earn a share of the points.  Man of the match was shared by Hanney and Boyler who were always keen to create.  3-3
