AUL PremC Sun (Ed OCallaghan):
Comfortable league win at home for Celtic against
Mellowes BDS. They got off the mark with a
candidate for goal of the season. Breaking away
from a corner, Garga fed Alan Bohan, who passed to
Thompson, whose precise incisive pass set up Steve
O'Callaghan to strike beautifully into the corner of the
net. This was followed by Billy Thompson being
taken down. Weah scored from the resultant spot kick.
Alan Bohan sealed it for Celtic late on. The
scoreline of 3-0 flattered Celtic, as it was a tough
game throughout. 3-0

DDSL 8C (Craig Shiels):
NDSL 8D (Pat Reilly)
DDSL 9C (P Danaher): Castleknock slipped to a
4-2 defeat to league leaders Lucan Utd. A very poor
first half for Castleknock left them trailing 4-0. The

goals back but victory was always beyond them. Goal

visitors to Porterstown for this SFAI Cup.
Castleknock battled hard for victory. A marvellous
long range strike from Peter Germaine set the home side
on their way. A late strike by Cian Kelly sealed
victory. 2-0
NDSL 11E (M Farrell): This was a cracking game
in the Porterstown sunshine. Swords Celtic went 2
-1 ahead. Asad Azam hitting Castleknock's goal.
The Swords Celtic second goal was very unfortunate, as
it resulted from the defender challenging what looked
fairly, only to be penalised. The resultant
free was deflected past the home keeper, much to the
annoyance of the home spectators. The home side
had missed a number of good chances. They pressed
hard for the equaliser, and it finally came when Jamie
Farrell struck home late on. Great treat for all
the spectators. 2-2

DDSL 11D (Derek Dixon):
