NDSL 10D (M Farrell) : Despite putting in a very committed performance, Celtic went down 5-1 away to Swords Celtic.  The team gave it 100% of determination throughout, with Jamie Farrell clearing the ball off the line and making many crucial saving tackles.  Hakim Mgumbu scored Celtic's goal with an assist from James Yaskersky. 1-5

NDSL 11Prem (S Dooley) : Celtic travelled away to Balbriggan to take on the Premier league leaders in the SFAI Cup and it was worth the trip.  Sean Dooley's team were fantastic throughout. They made the breakthrough in the first half with a Ryan McDonnell strike, and they held on to earn a place in the last 32 of the All Ireland Menton Seery Cup.

NDSL 12E (JOL) : Celtic travelled away to Drogheda for this league game and they were anxious to get back to winning ways after their reverse away to Portmarnock last week.  Drogheda Boys were  never going to make it easy, and Celtic had to battle to the very end. It was in the final minutes that Celtic made the breakthrough with a Brendan Kearney strike.  They had missed many chances in the first half, including an unconverted penalty.  1-0

NDSL 14C (K Leech) :

NDSL 14Girls (PH) : Celtic's ladies team just keep on winning.  They put in a disciplined performance today to ensure a 2-0 winning margin away to St Itas in Portrane.  2 cracking goals from Megan Naughton in the first half, and 2 stunning saves from Celtic keeper, Nicole McAuley, ensured that Celtic keep the pressure on at the top of the table.  It was a great all round performance, with Anne Marie Troy shading the player of the match award in only her second game.  2-0

NDSL 14D (W O Gorman) :

NDSL 15Prem (D Hanlon) : Celtic progressed into the Second Round of the MM Cup with a comfortable home win over Kinnegad Juniors, who battled from start to finish, but the Premier experience of the home side told in the end.  Eoin Haughton had given Celtic a 1-0 margin at half time, although in truth it could have been a lot more but for the heroic saves of the Kinnegad keeper.

  and more

Celtic eventually put the game out of sight through Joey Crampton's strike in the middle of the second half.  Jack Fogarty struck his penalty with conviction, but again the keeper was magnificent pushing the ball over the bar.  It was left to Niall Luckie to finish with aplomb late on to give Celtic their 3 goal margin.  While Gerard Byrne was magnificent for the home side, he was just shaded for the man of the match award by John Moran for his defending and his attacking play when the opportunity arose.  3-0
