U-13 SFAI Troy Cup
Hartstown Utd 0 Castleknock Celtic

Celtic
looked more like casualty ward ten with 9 players out
injured. They had the bare basics but with the
team spirit they have built, this wasn't going to be an
issue in the 1st round of the SFAI Cup.
Quite simply, 11 man Celtic destroyed Hartstown in the
first 10 mins with a lightening hat-trick from the
irrepressible Arthur Stark, while Brian Slevin and Conor
Byrne both went close, only to be denied by the giant
Hartstown keeper. Mo Mahady was stunning in the middle
of the park, covering every blade of grass and pushing
Celtic forward again and again.
The second half was more one-sided with Slevin, Harold,
Byrne and Stark scoring 2 more. Zak Harold's 30
yard volley being a contender for goal of the season.
Celtic will struggle on against injuries with Brian
Slevin pulling up with a suspected hamstring injury, but
this was nevertheless a great start to the SFAI Cup
campaign.
