NDSL U-11 Charlie Haughey Cup

Castleknock's U-11C today progressed to the semi final of the Charles Haughey Cup by beating Swords Celtic 3 - 1 in a cold windy Swords. Castleknock were 1- 0 down at half time, and still seemed to be in sleep mode. 

A stern half time pep talk seemed to do the trick as Luke Lynch scored early on in the second half to level affairs. Shortly afterwards a superb cross from Man of the match, Conor Rogers, was headed home in spectacular fashion by Mathew Doyle. Mathew hit the target again not long after for the final result 3 -1. 

Swords Celtic were a game team throughout, but it was very pleasing to see our boys battle back and take victory
