AUL Div3 Sat : Fabulous Frank Roe Cup win for
AUL Div3 Sat side under Peter Finn. Goals from Odie
Fanning and Matt O'Gorman saw them overcome Donamore
away and the atrocious conditions in Tallaght. 2-1.
LSL Div1D Sat : Vernon McAllorum, team
manager, is within touching distance of the league
title, after a 2-2 home draw against Ballyfermot Utd.
Leading 2-1 up to the 90th minute, it looked like they
would be crowned champions within weeks, they suffered a
sucker punch at the death that left them having to be
satisfied with a share of the points.
AUL Div1 Sun : The referee was not
willing to suffer any abuse from the visiting Bridge Utd
side. Celtic had defeated them away the previous week,
2-1. When Celtic went ahead early on through an Adam
O'Callaghan strike, Bridge reacted nastily with a lot of
abuse. The ref duly abandoned the game with barely 10
minutes gone. The fact that Bridge arrived
three-quarters of an hour late did not endear them to
the ref. Celtic meantime continue their surge up the
table and are well positioned for a late run for the
Div1 title.

NDSL 12C: Clonee were overwhelmed by an
irresistible performance by the visitors. Man of the
match was Keelan McAnerin who hit a hat-trick to lay the
foundation for his team's 7-1 away win. Conor Mullen and
Eoin O'Donnchú hit one each. Cian Anderson hit a
couple, one an almighty cracker for his own team, and
the other was to give the opposition a consolation. A
great overall performance for this hard-working
team. 7-1 NDSL 12D: Celtic went
down to a late strike by Portrane away in Donabate..
1-2. NDSL 12E:
12E's travelled to Northway Park to play top of the
table Northway Rangers. The Rangers have a formidible
record with no losses and a colossal goal difference.
Playing under gale force condition the match proved to
be a lopsided affair. Playing up hill and into the gale
in the first half the 12E's were two down after 10
minutes with two dubious offside decisons. They went
further behind with two well worked goals. The second
half was better for the 12e's with the wind now with
them. However Northway are a well drilled outfit and
proved difficult to break through. Both Graham Chan and
Orla Higgins forced the Northway keeper into excellent
saves. However Northways determination and skill yielded
them three more goals to leave the 12E's quite subdued
at the end. NDSL 13Prem: Artur
Stark brace sank a plucky John Roe team in this
challenge game in Porterstown. It was a brave
performance by the 13A team against the club's 13
Premier side. DDSL 13A : NDSL 13A
