LSL Div1D Sat :
AUL Div1 Sun : Bridge Utd proved a tough
test for Celtic in this away league game. Celtic had 5
team changes since their last outing, but goals from
Steve O'Callaghan and Paul Murray saw the visitors
safely clock up yet another victory in their title run.
Steve's strike was a beauty as he volleyed into the far
corner from a Simon Fleming flick. Paul Murray was
the saviour for Celtic, as he stepped up to convert a
free kick, which turned out to be the last kick of the
game.
2-1

NDSL 12Prem: Heartbreak for Celtic as they
exit the cup in dramatic fashion. They had gone a
goal ahead in the dying minutes of regulation time with
a superb lob of the keeper by James Carolan, and looked
certain to go into the 5th round of the Kevin Moran Cup,
with the score at 3-2. But a suicidal lapse in
concentration saw St Columbans tip off, go straight down
to Celtic's goal, and bang, it was 3-3. Now it was extra
time. A killer strike from St Columbans ensured it
was they who progressed. James Carolan scored
twice, while Ian Watkins go the other. 3-4
