DDSL 11D:

NDSL 11E: John O'Leary's team just came up short in this important league title clash at home to Kilbarrack.  Celtic were 2-0 down by half time. Despite 2nd half rally, where Shane Coffey scored, they were unable to get the equaliser. 1-2.

DDSL 12Major: Normal  service is resumed as Celtic consolidate their position at the top of the Major Division.  4-1.

NDSL 12Prem: Celtic got off to a perfect start when Colin Lynch beautifully chipped the keeper to put the home side 1-0 up against the visiting Malahide Utd. But the seasiders were up for the battle and earned themselves a share of the points with an equaliser before half time. Man of the match was Kevin McGovern who was marvellous in goal.

NDSL 12B:

NDSL 12C: John Hayes was mightily impressed with his team's performance against Ashbourne in this David Costello Cup game in Porterstown. They fell behind early on, but they struck back with a penalty which was converted by Keelan McAnerin. 1-1 half time.

Celtic pressed hard in the second half, but their efforts were not duly rewarded. On one occasion, Keelan was lifted out of it by the Ashbourne defender, and he got nothing more than a corner for his trouble. It looked at that stage that you would have to be given the Eduardo treatment to earn a penalty. 1-1 at end of regulation time.

Extra time saw the tie ebb and flow, until finally the game was settled by a piece of brilliant play. Keelan took possession on the right hand side. As they say in the Faithful County, he skinned the defenders, delivered a perfect killer cross that was controlled by Hassan Ijaz in the box, and the striker buried his shot low to the keeper's right. 2-1 and the stadium erupted, all the owl ones going mad on the line. Well done to all the team for a great exhibition of commitment and skill. 2-1 win and a place in the draw for the next round.

NDSL 12D:

NDSL 12E: John Byrne was delighted with his team's focus that saw them give Ratoath a lesson in finishing. They hit the front early with Niall O'Callaghan getting his first. Aaron Connolly doubled their advantage after a defensive slip. Celtic could have been 3 up when they were awarded a penalty.  They failed however to convert the spot kick though struck well but down the keeper's throat. Niall O'Callaghan scored his second after 27 minutes to make it 3-0.  Jack Jennings was called on to make a superb save just before Ciaran Tierney struck home Ratoath's first to reduce the arrears. Half time 3-1.

10 minutes into the second half, it was that man again, Nialll O'Callaghan who rifled home a rasper into the far corner of the net to make it 4-1. Tom Byrne made it 5-1 two minutes later to put the tie beyond any doubt. Luke Mulally reduced the deficit when he shot home for Ratoath 10 minutes from time. The final act saw Aaron Connolly get his second, though there a serious hint of a deflection, but Aaron had no doubt about who scored the sixth. 6-1. Congrats too to the ref who played a blinder, or was he told he must be blind! Anyway, let's give him the benefit of the doubt.

NDSL 13Prem:  Celtic came away from Gannon Park with a share of the points in a 1-1 draw against Malahide Utd. 1-1.

NDSL 13A :

NDSL 13C: Luke Lynch and Adrian Black seal the points for Celtic in their away game v Baldoyle.  2-0

NDSL 13D:

NDSL 14Premier:  Celtic travelled to Ashbourne to take on the team who had made most progress recently up the table. They soon showed why they had made such progress, as they raced into a 2-0 lead.  But Celtic are made of stern stuff these days, and Jay Morgan's brace and the customary strike from Niall Luckie, were enough to ensure that the visitors bagged the points. Celtic are relieved to at last have a home game next Sunday against their nearest league rivals Skerries Town next week. 3-2.

NDSL 14B: Convincing 6-1 win for Celtic at home to Swords Rovers. 6-1.
