AUL Div1 Sun :  League leaders Greenpark went down 2-0 at home to Celtic away in Tallaght.  Following a period of reduced squads due to injuries, Eddie O'Callaghan has at last something like a full squad to choose from.  Adam O'Callaghan got the first,  while Paul Murray completed the scoring.  2-0.

NDSL 7s:

NDSL 8As: Celtic went down 1-0 at home  to Corduff FC.

NDSL 8B:  Following a 12-4 defeat of Artane Braumont away 2 weeks ago, the return game presented the opportunity for the Castleknock Celtic U8 team to experiment with some variations in the line up.  The team played a defensive game with 3 at the back as opposed to their normal solid two.  The trio of  Caoimhe Lynam, Paul Lambert, and  Cathal Steels proved unbeatable and no goals were conceded, which was the aim of the exercise.  At the other end,  Thomas Stevens showed that he had not lost his outfield skills by putting away the first goal.after 6 minutes. With his speed, turn of pace  and skill on the ball,  Ben Traynor got a brace,  putting CCFC comfortably ahead.  Artane Beaumont  only threathened once after the break putting a shot inches away from the right post.  The match yielded a 3 – 0 victory for Castleknock Celtic.

DDSL 8E1s: Tony Molloy travelled with his troops Dundrum and took on the local Balally Celtic team, and came home with full points after a very convincing win, where all Castleknock Celtic's players got on the scoreboard.

NDSL 14D: Fabulouse draw at home to league leaders McKelvey Celtic, which leaves Castleknock in a strong position to challenge for honours this season. 2-2.

DDSL 15B: Celtic overwhelm Liffey Pearse in 4 goal rout despite being reduced to 10 players through injuries.  This was a victory for fitness and focus over profligacy and a lack of discipline.  In fairness, Liffey had the bulk of possession in the first half, but yet they went in at half time 1-0 down to an opportunist strike from James O'Mahony.  The second half started much the same, but it was again Celtic who struck first after the break. This time it was Gerard Buckley who strode in to make it 2-0.  James O'Mahony then popped up at the far post to finish off a splendid move which saw Paddy Waters deliver the perfect cross from the right hand side. Paddy himself sewed things up to leave the home side looking ever so comfortable. But in truth, Aidan Water's team had to work very hard and this they do with 100% commitment. And it was this dedication to the cause that has seen them seal two victories in successive weeks despite being short a man. They look forward to being at full strength in the next week or so, when they can expect to continue their league challenge.  They are in 3rd spot with 3 games in hand, well positioned as they enter the final stages of the league campaign.   4-0.  Picture gallery click

DDSL 15B1: Domo Martin's squad left it late to put this home game against Knocklyon beyond doubt.  Ridwan Ademwale got Celtic off the mark, as he continues his fine run of form.  Gerry Troy got Celtic's other 2 to leave them 3-1 winners.  Man of the match was Darragh McGowan.  3-1.
