AUL Div3 Sat :
LSL Div1D Sat :
AUL Div1 Sun : Celtic just fail in their
fightback to gain a place in the 4th round of the FAI
Junior Cup. They fell 3-0 behind, and 2 goals in
the second half were just not enough. They must now
concentrate on their league title challenge which had
been put on the back burner while they pursued the cup
competitions. 0-3.
NDSL 7s: Celtic went down 3-1 in a hugely
entertaining game in Porterstown Park against
Rivervalley Rangers. The home side were floored in
the first half by a 3 goal blitz as they failed to cope
with the Rangers' poacher, who spent all the game
sitting on the Celtic line - not a great education for a
kid learning football! Celtic did pull one back in
the second period, and it was only a token reward for
their huge effort in the game. 1-3.
NDSL 8As: Tony Rush reported a great victory for
his trail-blazing warriors when they defeated a tough Howth Celtic side away in the seaside village.
Christian Sutton, Luke Finnegan, Ruairi Paton were
Celtic's marksmen in a 3-0 away win.
NDSL 8B:
DDSL 8E1s: Celtic were unlucky to lose this
match at home to Willows FC. They were losing 6-1 at
halftime. They came out in the second half a transformed
team, gunning for the opposition. Perhaps it was having
the wind, but they were doing brilliantly. Time just ran
out however on Tony Molloy's team, but not before
scoring 5 goals in this half to Willows one. A cracking
second half performance meant that Celtic deserved a
draw, but unfortunately they lost 7-6. Brilliant team
performance.

NDSL 10B:
NDSL 10C: Celtic took all 3 points in this
league encounter with Rivervalley Rangers in Porterstown.
They put 5 past the visitors, with goals from Zuhdi
Emara who hit the target twice, and Demi Dare getting
the match ball for his hat-trick. The game was
notable for Celtic's excellent team work throughout and
a strong defence ensured that Rivervalled breached the
home defence just once. The match was marred by
some reckless tackles by the visitors, who received a
number of yellow cards, and a red card for the
manager - rare occurrence in a coaching league. Sad but
true. See more at

NDSL 11C: This was a stroll for Celtic as they
put in 6 without reply against Willows FC. Oran
O'Donoghue, Anthony Healy, Oisin Zambra, Jordan Toland,
Matt Doyle, and Gary McCable were all on the
scoresheet, while man of the match award went to
Colum McGovern for his strong defensive performance.
DDSL 11D:
NDSL 11E: John O'Leary is depending heavily on
Paul Lynch, who yet again was in ace-striking
form. He was joined this week by Luke Doyle, who
outdid Paul's hat-trick by scoring 4. Definitely two
great striking performances, as Celtic defeated Baldoyle
7-3 away. 7-3
DDSL 12Major:
Celtic consolidated their position as table toppers when
they put 6 past the Bohemians who were no match for the
home side. Ryan Kearney Moore was again unstoppable with
another hat-trick. Tom Fogarty was again on the
scoresheet, which is unusual for him. He usually
contributes a vital strike per season, and reverts to
creating thereafter. Gareth Ruane and Steve
O'Reilly completed the scoring, which leaves Celtic on
top with Christmas approaching. It is still a long
way off the end of the season, which is when it counts.
Promotion to the Premier division is still very
much their target for this season, which is their first
in the DDSL. 6-0. NDSL 12Prem: Brian
Kennedy is very proud of his squad, which is the only
NDSL team to have made it into the 4th round of the SFAI
Cup. They defeated St Itas 3-0 at home in Porterstown.
3-0
NDSL 12B: NDSL 12C: Albert Fahy was
full of praise for his team as they went down 3-0 at
home to Portrane Athletic. They deserved a better
result for their commitment and skill which they showed
in abundance. NDSL 12D: Superb bounce
back by John Byrne's crew with a convincing 4-0 away win
v Navan Road Utd.

4-0 NDSL 13Prem: End
of the SFAI road for Celtic as they lose their advantage
in Dundalk.
click DDSL 13A : Celtic came back
from a 2-1 deficit to edge out Kilnamanagh in
Porterstown. Stephen Kenna had put Celtic ahead,
but a terrific free kick and a second had turned the
tables. But Sean Hoare's corner kicks led to
Celtic earning all 3 points, when Stephen Kenna and
Stephen Treadwell struck from close range. 3-2.

NDSL 14Premier: Celtic went down by the
narrowest of margins at home to Swords Rovers in
Porterstown. NDSL 14B: Sean O'Donnchu's side
showed their mettle in this very tight contest in
Porterstown. They went behind twice, but managed
to get back on terms on both occasions with goals from
Eoin Haughton and Sean Clarke. Celtic almost
snatched it in the dying minutes. 2-2. NDSL 14C: DDSL 15B:
This was a strange game. Celtic led 4-2 with
10 mins remaining at home to Hillview in Porterstown.
Keith McDarby had helped himself to a brace, with
Patrick Waters and Paul McGrath getting the other 2.
But then a Hillview parent gets involved in verbals with
the ref and is sent to the sinbin. Not happy
with that, he decides to get involved further with the
ref, who then abandons the game because the guy would
not leave the park. Celtic must now await the outcome of
the league's consideration of the matter as regards the
points being awarded to the home side. 4-2. DDSL 15B1:
Celtic went on a scoring spree against Leixlip Utd in
this league game in Porterstown. They raced into a
5-0 lead by half-time, at which stage the game was
undoubtedly over as a contest. They were playing
exhibition football, with fluent passing moves, which
yielded five goals. They rang the changes in the
second half and still managed to add a further 4 goals.
On the mark for Celtic were Vadim, who got a
fully-deserved hat-trick, giving a virtuoso in all the
fundamentals of a striker, chasing every cause, no
matter how slim. His commitment is an example to any
player. Gerry Troy hit a double, while Dave
Cummins registered yet another goal in what is proving
to be a very successful season for him in that
department. Amin ventured up front after putting
in a superb performance in the middle of the
defence. He was rewarded with a goal. Paul
Conway and Denis Barmini were Celtic's other marksmen on
the day. 9-0. NDSL 15B:
1-1 draw for Celtic at home to Grangewoodbine. It
was 0-0 at half time, but Simon Byrne's strike was
enough for Celtic to earn a share of the points.
