NDSL 10C1: Brian and Gavin were very pleased
with the manner of their team's win away to Maynooth
Town, which maintains their position second in the
league. Captain for the day was Zuhdi Emara,
and he showed why he had the captain's armband. He hit a
blistering hat-trick. Demi Dare was yet again on
the mark, this time with a couple. While Nedim Hrvacia
completed the scoring, to give Celtic an impressive 6-3
scoreline. They played very well as a team, with
plenty of good passing movement. Man of the
match was Robert O'Connor for his industry. 6-3.
NDSL 10E:
NDSL 11Prem: There were many notable
performances in this league game with Maynooth Town.
The 2 teams were very evenly matched throughout, but 2
individual strikes from Donal Timoney, ala Jimmy
Greaves, soccer icon of the '60s proved the difference
in the end. He wove his magic for his goals, but
he was ably assisted in delivering this result by Jamie
Traynor, and Mark Corry who returned after a 5
week absence to control the midfield once again.
James Henry was also very special in goal. 2-1.
NDSL 11C:
DDSL 11D: Celtic went down 5-2 against Dundrum
Athletic in Porterstown. This was nevertheless a
battling performance, with all Celtic's players putting
in 100% performances. Celtic's scorers were Marcus
Tunney and Saad Ahsan. The manager, Larry Mongey,
who is abroad on holidays, would have been very
pleased with their commitment. Man of the match
award probably went to Dovydas Baranavskas, who was a
real midfield dynamo when he came on to add steel in the
middle of the park.

NDSL 11E: The 2 Pauls, O'Donoghue and Lynch,
were Celtic's heroes away in this league game, as they
defeated Lusk Utd 3-2. Celtic's other goal came
from an own goal. 3-2
DDSL 12Major: Celtic
had suffered a reverse in their most recent league game,
but they bounced back with a heavy defeat of Tolka
Rovers at home. Celtic looked comfortable from the
outset, going close on numerous occasions. They actually
hit the target after a couple of minutes when Mark Grant
ushered the ball into the net from the 6 yard area. He
had created the chance himself after he had skint the
full back and put in a beautiful cross. When the ball
returned across the goal, he was on hand to make it 1-0.
Joseph Lennon Maher hit Celtic's second, which left the
home side 2-0 to the good at half time. The
chances were numerous but the Celtic attack had left
their shooting boots at home. The second half was
more of the same. But this time they took more of
their chances, with Klevis Kurpreka adding to the score.
Mark Grant was again on the money with his second, while
Tom Fogarty and Ryan Smith completed the scoring.
This was undoubtedly a satisfactory result, with
noteworthy performances being put in by Conor Stephenson
and Patrick Rocca, both of whom are always looking to
deliver creative passes. Celtic are still not the
Rolls Royce they were, but they are gradually getting
into gear for their assault on the league and cup
trophies.

4-1.
NDSL 12B: Conor O'Neill and Martin
Treadwell were treated by their team to a virtuoso
lesson in finishing as they ran out easy winners 8-0 in
this league cup encounter with Balscadden Boys. NDSL 12C:
Albert Fahy was full of praise for his troopers who saw
off Clontarf in their league fixture away in St Annes
Park.

John Byrne hailed his heroes as they hit 6 past
Rush Athletic. 6-0.

: NDSL 13C: Ken Leech's U-13s went down 1-2 to
Baldoyle Utd. NDSL 13D:
Artane had already started celebrating at half time in
Laurel Lodge as they led 3-0. But Zaid Kurchied had not
read the script. He produced a scintillating
hat-trick to send the home supporters away in ecstacy
and a share of the points.
NDSL 14Premier: Amazing goal feast in
Porterstown as Celtic went down 5-4 to Ashbourne,
despite having led 2-0 in the first half. 4-5.
