AUL Div3 Sat : Idle

LSL Div1D Sat : Celtic put in a tremendous performance with a 3-1 home win over Beechill in the 1st round of the FAI Junior Cup.  This means we have 2 senior sides into the next round of this the most prestigious cup in junior football.  Deco Cunningham's brace and a strike from Ciaran Carr were enough to ensure Celtic's safe passage into the next round.

AUL Div1 Sun : Celtic were left to take the  field with many of their squad on the injury list. But this team hasn't gone unbeaten in the League since Adam was a lad for nothing. They hit Marks Celtic for six - 6-0 away in Tallaght. It is around 2 years since this side were defeated in the league, and I don't think many teams can match that record.  Adam O'Callaghan was again man of the match, hitting 2 goals. He was joined on the scoresheet by Billy Cotter, Norman Ross, Ian Martyniak and John Dunne. Celtic had led 3-0 at half-time.

NDSL 7s:

NDSL 8As: Tony Rush lose to the narrowest of margins, 1-0 away to Howth Celtic.

DDSL 8E1s:

NDSL 9As: Last gasp goal by Aidan Samson, direct from a corner kick, gave Celtic a deserved share of the points in their home fixture against Lusk Utd.  Calum Carberry had given the home side a 1-0 lead at half time. But Lusk are a plucky team and they recovered to go ahead 2-1, only to be denied with the last kick of the game, a fabulous comeback for the Celtic boys. click for  gallery

NDSL 10C:

NDSL 10D: Well earned draw for Celtic at home to Malahide. They had gone 1-0 behind, but Demi Dare popped up to strike the equaliser and send the home fans away happy.  click for gallery

NDSL 11Prem: Celtic hosted Corduff FC in a cracking game between these 2 local rivals, who have been a thorn in each other's side for years.  There was nothing between them in the end on the scoreline, though Celtic will feel somewhat aggrieved that they did not bag all 3 points after they had numerous offside decisions go against them.  1-1.  click for action

NDSL 11C: John O'Leary was again in dreamland as his warriors put six past Santos from 2 higher divisions in the 1st round of the Tom Coghlan Cup. Luke Doyle was the star with his hat-trick, while Brendan Kearney, Shane Coffey and Aidan Doherty, completed the scoring. 6-0. click for pic imperfect

NDSL 11E:

DDSL 12Major:

NDSL 12Prem: Brian Kennedy's squad continued their rich vein of form with another convincing win. This time they put Phoenix FC from the Navan Road to the sword with a comfortable four goal margin. Evan Kennelly, Ronan McCabe, Ian Watkins and Colin Lynch were Celtic's scorers. It had been a tight affair up to the half way mark, but Celtic opened up the throttle in the second half to finish 4-0 winners. click for pic imperfect

NDSL 12D: Celtic went down 0-2 to Lusk at home in the Kevin Moran Cup. click

NDSL 13Prem: Paul Slevin's troops travelled to the Midlands to take on Mullingar Athletic. We remember this fixture proved a stumbling block last season when Celtic failed to break down the home defence despite a 70 minute barrage. This time however Celtic had Artur Stark in their ranks and he put in a virtuoso performance. He has joined the Celtic attack which had previously mainly comprised Brian Slevin and Conor Byrne. The result was never in doubt from early on, and Celtic ran out easy 6-0 winners.

DDSL 13A : Celtic have comfortable 3-0 home win over St Kevins in the league.

NDSL 13A : St Josephs share the points with Celtic in Porterstown. click for team pic

NDSL 13C:

NDSL 13D: Willie O'Gorman was delighted with his team's convincing win at home to Glebe North. Alif Said hit a brace, while Eoin O'Gorman and Cormac Kelly completed the scoring. Celtic led 2-0 at half time. Pick of the goals was Alif's strike from 20 yards when he struck his shot beautifully into the far left hand corner into the only visible gap. 4-0. click for gallery

NDSL 15A:

DDSL 15B:

DDSL 15B1: Dominic Martin's side took all 3 points in this home tie against Leicester in a rearranged league fixture. Unfortunately Dundrum Ath had to withdraw from the league.  Man of the match was Armin Bardak, but it was David Cummins' bullet header that separated the sides in the end. 1-0.  click for team pic

DDSL 16A: Jim Kennelly had to concede defeat in this battling encounter against Park Celtic in the league. Jonny Cooper's goal was not enough to prevent Park from taking the 3 points. 1-2. click for action and click again for team pic

DDSL 16A1: Mick O'Hara's side faced a very strong O'Deveney outfit. Adam Lacey's brace were not enough to prevent defeat for Celtic.

DDSL 18Prem:  Peter Hoey was full of praise for his team after they had performed a great recovery to share the points against Leicester Celtic. They had gone 0-2 down at half time.  But Eoin O'Shea hit a brace to bring the sides level. Unfortunately they went behind again to Leicester's third.  This time it was talisman Chris Hoey who popped up to score a super strike to bring the sides level yet again.  3-3 a fair result in the end. click for action, and click for pic
