AUL Div3 Sat : Peter Finn was delighted with his squad's performance in Porterstown.  They led 1-0 at half time thanks to  Philip Cooney's opener.  They added the second and third in the second half through strikes by James Haughton and Darren Kinsella, before the visitors Castle Park got a consolation.

AUL Div3 Sun : Vinny Corry's goal was not enough to save Celtic from a 3-1 home defeat at the hands of Nutgrove Celtic.  click

NDSL 8As made it 3-out-of-3 with this 5-1 win over Maynooth, with goals from Luke Finnegan, Mark Brazil, Tim Kelly, Liam Kelly, and Dylan Farrell, who was named man-of-the-match.

DDSL 8E1s went down valiantly, but Naoise McAloon's goal was not enough to earn a point against Willows FC in Porterstown.  1-3.

NDSL 11Prem earn a share of the points in a 1-1 away draw.  Donal Timoney was again on the mark for Celtic.

NDSL 11C came home with all 3 points from their away trip to Tolka Rovers after a fantastic 5-4 win.  Celtic's marksmen were Matthew Doyle,  Faruk Ibrahimi (2), Gary McCabe and Oisin Zambra.

NDSL 11E raced into a 4-0 lead in this home game against Marino FC. Paul Lynch got the first, while the second was an own-goal.  Paul Lynch again and a Kevin Keogh strike in the second half gave Celtic what looked like an insuperable lead.  Then manager, John O'Leary rang the changes in the second half, and in a blistering 10 minute spell, Marino had hauled themselves back to  within a goal of the home side.  Heads were being scratched at the turnaround.  But Celtic hung on to record an amazing scoreline that nobody would have predicted 20 minutes from time. 4-3  home win.  click

DDSL 12Major: The match ball went to Mark Grant for his hat-trick in this 9-1 demolition of St Malachys.  Ryan Kearney Moore was as usual  on the scoresheet, while Klevis Kurbreka hit a brace.  Tom Fogarty clocked up a rare goal for him. Conor Stephenson was on target for the second week on the trot.  Conor Lennon Maher completed the rout for Celtic which leaves them well positioned in the Major Division of the DDSL.

NDSL 12C go down 3-1 at home to Rush Athletic.  This was an incredible game. Celtic went 3-0 down and only then woke. They pulled one back through Hasan Ijaz, who was probably a candidate for man of the match.  For the rest of the game Celtic pummelled the visitors, only to see the seasiders hold out.  Keelan (sorry about earlier mix-up) McAnerin went oh so close, while Celtic were unlucky with their penalty after Hasan Ijaz was unceremoniously hacked down as he was about to rifle home. click for team photo, and more click

NDSL 12E proved much too strong for Navan Road Utd in Porterstown, winning 6-2.  click

NDSL 13Prem fought another epic with Clontarf FC, which finished 1-1.  click

NDSL 13C were good  value for  their 2-0 home win over Raheny Utd.  Luke Lynch got  both Celtic's goals, one from the penalty spot. Manager Ken Leech and coach Pearse Goslin were full of  praise for the courage of their team, which was put to the test for long spells in the second half.

NDSL 13D hung on to the narrowest of victories in their 3-2 win away to Cloughertown.  Atif Said, Dan Waters and Eoin O'Gorman were Celtic's marksmen. Cloughertown hit the woodwork in the dying minutes.

NDSL 14D had a terrific win away to Ashbourne.  Though they conceded 3, their strike force was in full swing, with goals from Robert Dunne (2), Mark McIlkenny, Bartik Biland, Gareth Boulter.

DDSL 15B took the 3 points at home to Dunboyne with goals from Paul McGrath, Jamie Turner and Keith McDarby.  3-1

DDSL 15B1 put Knocklyon to the sword in 6-0 rout.  Dave Cummins was the star of the show with a hat-trick.

DDSL 16As travelled away to Knocklyon and came home with a fine 2-1 win.  Christian Galvin brought Celtic level in the second half, after the home side had led 1-0 at half time.  Gary Doyle hit a screaming 25 yard free kick to the net to haul Jim Kennelly's side into the lead, which they held till the finish. 2-1 to Celtic.
