Chris Doggett and Ray Bowe were very pleased with the continued progress of their team as they notched up their second win on the bounce.  The goals were raining in at such a rate that we thought we were watching training on the all weather pitch.  But it was all the more exciting for the spectators, though the management seemed to be a bit over-excited with the breaches that appeared in the respective defences.

We thought we had our full complement of goals when Celtic led 5-3 with 15 mins remaining.  But nothing could have been further from the truth.  Brendans reduced the arrears, but Celtic immediately hit back and restored their advantage, and so it continued to the end.

Denis Brahimi hit a hat-trick in a golden performance that might have won him man of the match award, except that all his team mates had given a 100 per cent performance.  Cian Spillane hit a brace, while Colm O'Shea and Mark Bowe completed the scoring.

Congratulations to the two teams for giving the fans lots to be excited about.
