Castleknock Celtic 11D's notched up their first league win of the season by beating Malahide 5 - 1 at home in Laurel Lodge.  

The match was a splendid team effort with the 11D's going ahead after 10 minutes with a goal by Evin Kenneally. The rest of the first half was end to end with Malahide taking a well-worked equaliser late in the half.

The second half continued the same way with both teams playing well but not looking like they would score. The breakthrough came 10 minutes from the end when Evin scored a well deserved second goal, thus setting the 11D's up for a close win. Within minutes Evin scored his hat trick with a super chip on the keeper. This was followed in quick succession by a fine shot by Amir Kasasovic to score number 4 and a good passing  movement put Stephen Byrne through for number 5. A super last 10 minutes to give the 11D's their first league win and their highest winning score.  

The hardworking squad on the day were Luke Smith, Aaron Connolly, Declan King, Adam McCabe, Thomas Byrne, Stephen  Byrne, Louise O'Connor, Amir Kasasovic, Paul Garvey, Ciaran Byrne, Orlaith            Higgins, Adam Prior, Evin Kennelly.
