11As take the points with 4-1 win against Woodlawn thanks to another hat-trick from Ian Watkins, and a single strike from Gareth Ruane.   click for more

11Ds are on a roll at the moment. They travelled to Malahide and inflicted a heavy 5-0 defeat on the local United club.  Evan Kenneally and Niall Callaghan helped themselves to a brace each, and a goal from Paul Burke, completed the scoring.  This ensured maximum points for Celtic in their 2 games in 3 days.

12Ds lost to Hartstown Utd in a local derby in Laurel Lodge.  Despite Eoin O'Gorman's goal, it was not enough to save his team from a 3-1 home defeat.

14Premier were thankful to Sean Walsh and Eoin Cahill for their share of the points at home to Boyne Rovers, in a 2-2 draw.

15Bs got back to winning ways with a 3-2 away win over Willows.  Despite going 2-0 inside 10 mins, they fought back to earn all the points.  Man of the match Paul Cunniffe scored with a supeb volley from a corner.  David Kelly levelled with a great solo effort.  Craig Dunne produced a touch of magic to ensure that Celtic were victors, and maintain his good scoring form this season.

16As overcome resilient Cloughertown with 3-2 win. They had to restore their lead a couple of times after the 'town had clawed their way back twice.  Tiger scored twice, with Chris Hoey hitting home from the penalty spot.  Man of the match award went to Craig Norton.

AUL Div2 Sun hit 4 past third placed Dunsink to strengthen their challenge for the league title. Colm Brady was back after injury, and after Celtic had hit the woodwork a couple of times, he put his side ahead on 35 mins.  1-0 half-time.  Adam O'Callaghan put Celtic 2-0 up on 55 mins.  Then John Dunne hit a brace to make it 4-0.

The 11As also had a much deserved win on Friday, 20th April for their management team of Brian Kennedy/Brian Farrell/Vinnie Newman.  They took on the 2nd placed Cloughertown, and it was a very positive performance, committed from the start.  They produced a cracker of a finish from Gareth Ruane
who left the keeper rooted to the spot with a spectacular lob from 18yds in the 3rd minute.  On came your modern day Alan Clarke of Leeds fame in the form of Ian Watkins who has an uncanny knack of finding the net.  Speed and agility is his norm and he was on fire today with a sweet hat trick from James Carolan completed the scoring to make it 5-0.

Compliments to the team and a well prepared squad from the coaching team.
