PORTERSTOWN CUP, 24 Aug 2008 Despite being postponed a week due to heavy rain and unplayable pitches, the tournament went ahead with 12 teams participating instead of the original 16 planned before the deluge. It was a fabulous day, with catering provided thanks to sponsorship arranged by Paul Slevin. The winners of the main section were Clontarf FC having defeated Ormonde Villa in the final; Hillsborough Boys took the plaudits for winning the second level. Cabinteely Boys took the third level honours. See picture gallery below
