Castleknock Celtic was founded in 1987 after its predecessor, Laurel Lodge FC, expanded its coverage to include all of Castleknock. It gradually grew from its one adult team, to include schoolboys and girls, and in 2011 it now boasts 43 teams, including 3 adult teams, and the rest being juveniles, ranging in age from 5 to 18 years.
The headquarters are in Porterstown where it built its own clubhouse. It has 4 full sized pitches in Porterstown, along with 3 small-sized pitches, and one full sized pitch in Laurel Lodge. The club also has an all weather pitch in Laurel Lodge for its winter training.
Hello, living in carpenterstown, I am looking for a football club in the area. I am not looking for high level as I haven’t played in a club since many years. I am 32 years old I stopped playing in a club since I came to Ireland 9 years ago. Since, i have only been playing with friends doing different astro leagues. Basically, I am looking for a team mainly for fun but with the competition spirit. I hope the castleknock Celtic Fc could offer this.
