In stormy conditions Celtic shipped 3 goals in the opening minutes of this away encounter with Swords Manor. Playing into the wind the going was difficult but Max Trigub’s determination earned him a hat-trick by half time. 3-3.
The second half mirrored the first with Swords putting away 3 with no response. Celtic failed to capitalise on wind advantage of the second half. James Smith ran on to one of the few balls breaking from the midfield to score Celtics only goal of the second half. Swords sealed it with one final flurry. At the whistle the score line read 8 – 4 to the home team.
