DDSL 12C hit Ballybrack for Eight

Celtic  8   Ballybrack  1:  After the previous Monday’s great start to the season against St John Bosco’s (Won 5-2 with 4 goals from Winston Wang and new kid on the block Emmanuel Mkencho), Celtic had to travel to Ballybrack for their second outing.  Straight from the off, Celtic looked sharper and stronger and it wasn’t long before they took control and scored when Emmanuel Mkencho burst down the right wing to unleash a powerful shot into the top corner, not unlike his strike in the previous game (see pic).

With more Castleknock pressure, they struck twice when Winston Wang and Ayoub Khennache converted their chances.  Castleknock were rampant and Ballybrack were no match for the men in green and white.  Just before half time, Winston Wang was too quick for the ‘brack defence and made it 4-0 at the break.

The second half was more of the same and with his speed, power and hunger Winston Wang finally got his third to complete his hat-trick.  With goals from Franklin Izundu, Keelin McEntee and a superb free kick from Michael Walsh from outside the box, the demolition was complete.  The home team managed eventually to get a consolation as Celtic took the foot off the pedal.  The Celtic defence of David Nugent, Kyle Roberts and Conor O’Leary were exceptional today.  With 2 wins from 2, Shane White and Sean Porter’s men march on. Well done lads!!
