Tony Molloy was very pleased with the attitude of his new 13A1 squad of players. They proved far too strong for local opposition, St Mochtas AFC, in Laurel Lodge, putting nine past their luckless rivals. 9-1
Meantime, Mike Farrell put down a marker that his team intends to continue the new season where they left off in May. They put local rivals Santos to the sword, also scoring nine. The goal fest was led by Connor’s hat-trick, Narcis and Hakim hit a brace each, while the scoring was competed by Adam and Shane who scored one a piece.
So plenty of shooting practice ahead of their opening competitive fixtures next week.
